The
verb ( Have) is an essential verb in English and it is used very much .
It is one of the most important verbs of ownership. In today's lesson
we will identify this verb in all its cases and uses and address any
information that belong to him .
( Have – has ) but in the past tense has one form only ( Had ) . At the start we explain what is the difference between ( Have – Has ) even though they have the same meaning.
The difference between ( have – has ) :

-He has a green shirt. -Maggie has a fantastic dress . -My brother has a new toy . -My friends has motorcycle . |
-Do you have brothers ? -We have a new car . -They have a big house . -Samira and Ali have a beautiful room. -I have bicycle . |
And so we're indicate the difference between ( have – hs ) and we concluded from the previous table that ( has ) comes to singular and (have ) comes to plural and that's the only difference between them.
Negative and questioning :
Negative :
Since ( Have ) comes to indicate the present tense intuitively when we put it in negative formula we add :
• Don't → have
• Doesn't → has
For example :
✔ They don't have idea about it .
✔ Shady doesn't have a dog .
✔ We don't have any extra room at home .
For example :
✔ They don't have idea about it .

Questioning :
As in negative, We use to ask about ownership in the present tense ( Do- Does ) and this will be more evident in the examples :
✔ Does Hana have a new suit ?
✔ Do the girls have a new ball ?
✔ Do you have a new computer ?
Formula ( Have got – Has got )
This formula is also used to express ownership but it is more commonly used in the British accent and it is also a little casual .
For example :
✔ Mohamed has got a great artistic sense.
✔ They have got a spacious kitchen .
✔ Ali has got four sisters .
It should be noted that we deny this formula by putting ( Not ) after the verb ( has – have ) for examples :
✔ She hasn't got address.
✔ I hasn't got laptop.
✔ I and my friends haven't got any money for this party .
Other uses for the verb ( has – have )
This verb can comes in another meaning with meals, drinks, food .
For example :
✔ I have rice and chicken for lunch.
✔ Samira has a milk for breakfast .
✔ They have eggs in the morning .
✔ My little sister has a lot of chocolate .
