The future perfect tense

Today we will present you one of the tenses in English which point to the future. We also know that there are many tenses that reflect both the immediate and the distant future in English .It also varies in terms of composition and usage in the sentence .

The future perfect is one of the most fundamental tenses of the future which comes in importance after the simple future . it also the hardest tense  for beginners so our lesson today will be about this tense in full and simple where we will recognize it in terms of composition and usage .

Here are the uses of the future perfect tenses:

1-This tense expresses an event that will take place in the future and will end before another event occurs in the future as well and in this case the first act is in the ( Perfect future ) but the second act is always in the ( Simple present ) for examples :

-I will have learned cooking before I get married .

2-It also used to indicate an event that continues to happen continuously until another event occurs in the future for instance :

-My brother will have waited me in the car until I finish the engagement party .

Having learned about the uses of the future perfect tense and when the sentence requires its existence now, we will explain very smoothly the way it is configured whether in the affirmation , negative and questioning .

 

How the perfect future tense is formulated ?

Examples
Formation
The case
-I will have helped my dad to grow the land when I take the vacation .

-By the new year, I will have got a big promotion at work .


Subject + will have+ past participle    

Affirmation    
-My mother will not have taken her   treatment before she went to work.

-Shady will not have   studied until his teacher come .
   
   

Will + not + have + past participle    

Negative    
-Will you have eaten your pizza ?

-Will your son have traveled to Spain ?   

Will + subject + have + past participle ?   

Questioning    

We can also use the formula ( going to ) instead of ( will ) to express the ( future  perfect ) and then the Two formulas are equal in meaning and usage .

And then it becomes form of the formula used in the future perfect tense is :

Am / is / are + going to + have + past participle 

For example :

-My sister is going to have travelled to Kuwait by the next month .


We have to point out that it is not right to use those  time clauses ( when – while – after – before) with this tense and then we use the simple present tense as in the following examples :

-I will have done my homework when my uncle comes to visit us .

-My friend will have married before I come back from travel .

Words for the future perfect

There are several phrases and words  used with this tense which in turn indicate a specific time for the act to occur in the future and among these  terms are :

( By the time – by the end of this month – until – till –by the next week , year ,…….)

For examples :

-By the end of this month, I will have been a widow for Ten years .

-I will have worked until I van buy that car .
